Kick ‘em to the Curb

ANDDD we’re done! This one was by far the easiest bedazzled painting I’ve done thus far. After learning from my trial and errors in the previous projects, I was able to effectively use my time and energy to complete this one. After completing the boot portion of the painting, I decided to only use the smallest rhinestones for the top in order to do all the details in the flowers.

Overall, I really enjoyed this project. I was able to reconnect with my younger self through art and create wall art for my room. I will say this whole process tested my patience as each piece took way longer than I expected it to. Patience is a virtue in the realm of art: each stroke and decision contributed to the final outcome. I’m very happy I did this project because it allowed me to express my creativity while also adding personal touches to my living space. I’ve also had many people tell me they’d buy the paintings off of me and that I should start a bedazzling business, so maybe that’ll be my next endeavor!
